The best time to post on Facebook is midweek: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the strongest days in large studies of Facebook posts, and Saturday and Sunday the weakest. The studies agree on the day more than the hour, so post in the morning or around midday and compare. Meta Business Suite’s Active times recommends times from when your own followers were most active over the past seven days.

Why there’s no single best hour
Studies that total every like, comment and share point to midday and evening, when the most people are scrolling. Studies that score the typical post point to the morning. Both put the best day midweek.
So the day is the safer bet, and the hour is worth testing: post at the same kind of time for a few weeks, then try another, and keep the one your posts do best at.
Find your own best time with Active times
- Go to Meta Business Suite and click Create post.
- Under Post to, choose your Facebook Page.
- Add your media and write your post.
- Under Scheduling options, click Active times and pick one of the recommended times.
- Click Schedule.
Meta recommends those times from when your followers were most active on Facebook and Instagram over the past seven days. To post from Business Suite, you need full control of the Page or permission to post content on it.
