How to turn off profile views on TikTok

Tap Profile, then the Menu button at the top, then Settings and privacy, Privacy and Profile views, and turn off Profile view history. It’s off by default. With it off, you don’t see who viewed your profile, and others don’t see that you viewed theirs.

Turn off profile view history

  1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
  2. Tap the Menu button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
  3. Tap Privacy, then tap Profile views.

How profile view history works

  • It works both ways: with it on, you see who viewed your profile, and anyone you visit who has it on sees your visit.
  • You only see viewers who also have it turned on, and only for visits in the past 30 days.
  • It’s off until you turn it on.
  • Only accounts 16 or older with fewer than 5,000 followers can use it.
